A member is bound to deal
fairly and honestly with its customers.

A member shall not
intentionally give false or misleading information to its customers
verbally, in writing, or in its literature, and is under an
obligation to use all reasonable care to avoid doing this.

A member shall not
intentionally make an inaccurate, misleading or malicious reference
to a competitive product or service.

A member shall not
knowingly or deliberately damage the professional reputation of
another company within the industry, whether the company is a member
or not, in order to further its own business or otherwise.

A member shall not engage
in any practice, nor conduct itself in a manner regarded as
detrimental to the reputation of the Association and the interests
of the heating industry.

A member
is bound to investigate any complaint levelled against it by a
customer, and, if the complaint is justified, take necessary action
in order to rectify the situation.

A member
shall agree to the Association Council, or its representative,
acting as arbitrator, when requested to do so by a customer, and
shall abide by the decision following such arbitration.

An
installing member shall fully maintain its CORGI or NICEIC
Registration.

An
installing member shall supply its employees with all the necessary
training, tools, equipment and materials to undertake the work
required.

A member
is bound to uphold this Code and assist the Association in its
implementation.
