ATTRACTS 1/3
GAIN CONFERENCE ATTRACTS 30 EXHIBITORS AND NEAR 300 DELEGATES
Over 30 manufacturers and suppliers of
boilers and heating equipment, microgeneration measures, and insulation
exhibited at the Conference and exhibition entitled: ‘Will Incentives
Move the Renewables Market?’, held at the
National Motorcycle Museum, in Birmingham recently.
This was the second annual
conference organised by the Grant Aided Heating Installers Network: it
was sponsored by eaga Plc, who manage the Government Warm Front scheme,
and Scottish Power Energy Retail Ltd. Nearly 300 registered social
landlords, and suppliers and installers within the industry attended the
Conference and visited the exhibition. The exhibitors comprised:
Stand 1: Johnson &
Starley's ‘Home Comfort Solutions' include the Q-Vent HR 160 and 260
high efficiency heat recovery ventilation unit, both
SAP Appendix Q listed, and rated at up to 95% efficient in heat
recovery. For decentralised extract ventilation the new A1003 and E1004
energy efficient fans satisfy Building Regulations for this type of
ventilation strategy.
RenoXtra high efficiency combination condensing boilers are available in
30kW and 37kW models and feature a gas saver module. Central extract
ventilation systems include the CE300 Premier and CE180 Premier with EC
fan motors for energy efficiency. Johnson & Starley Ltd, Rhosili Road, Brackmills,

bulbs. Fitting thermostats will have a far greater effect.
New, more efficient room thermostats make real savings. Many UK homes do
not even have a thermostat fitted! The new Sundial RF2 packs offer
wireless enabled energy savings. Honeywell Control Systems, Honeywell
