EXHIBITORS WARM UP GAIN CONFERENCE

First Annual GAIN Exhibition for Grant Suppliers

Twenty-six suppliers to the government Warm Front scheme and the wider grant market exhibited alongside the GAIN Conference for those serving the specialist grant market. The Conference was organised by the Grant Aided Heating Installers Network, and sponsored by eaga plc, who manage the government scheme. Nearly 200 registered social landlords, and suppliers and installers within the industry, attended the conference and visited the exhibition.

The exhibition covered heating, insulation and renewable products, with the following participants:

eaga plc is a green support services company that has grown over the last 20 years into the UK’s leading provider of residential energy efficiency solutions and an established deliverer of outsourced services that address climate change and social inclusion. They partner local authorities, central government and blue chip organisations including over 30 councils, Government departments and all the major utility companies, with a full range of BPO services. Committed to delivering service excellence and value for money for clients, they have experienced continued growth and are recognised as a leader in the outsourcing market. The Grant Aided Heating Installers Network aims to deliver cost effective and energy efficient heating solutions throughout the UK, working with government, agencies and RSLs to address future challenges. The highest levels of technical and safety performance are aimed for, whilst embracing customer and service excellence. GAIN provides a united voice, supporting heating installers involved in grant aided schemes and advancing the working partnership with scheme managers. It holds quarterly, open meetings at a central venue with eaga (itself a GAIN member) to discuss specification and technical issues. This encourages networking to share knowledge and find solutions collectively. GAIN aims to be at the forefront of renewable technologies and actively encourages government and RSL’s to embrace new technologies where a sufficiently robust economic or social argument can be made for their deployment.
